Peter Joseph Fletcher

Peter was born on September 4, 1957 in Newton, NJ to the late John and Natalie (Poynter) Fletcher. Peter was a lifelong Branchville resident. He graduated from Blair Academy in 1976 and worked at his family’s resort until 1985. He went on to become an owner and operator of Dairy Queen and Stewarts from 1985 until 2007 and Blue Mount Inn in Stillwater from 1995-2008. Peter volunteered for Branchville Bombers Wrestling for 10 years. All who had the privilege to know Peter loved him for his sense of making you laugh and his ability to always put a smile on your face. He was generous to all who knew him.

The beloved husband to Joanne Fletcher, Peter is also survived by his sons, Victor C. Fletcher and his wife, Shannon, Michael Fletcher and Matthew Fletcher; his siblings, John D. Fletcher and Nancy C. Love and her husband, John; his granddaughter, Sienna Fletcher, and his niece, Natalie Martinello and her husband, Domenic. Along with his parents, his son, John J. Fletcher and his sister, Judith Fletcher, predeceased Peter.

A celebration of life will be held privately at a later date.
