Michele Hamilton Moorhouse, 54, of the Culver Lake section of Frankford Township, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Morristown Medical Center. She fought a courageous battle against kidney disease for 18 years.
Michele was born in Boonton, raised in Montville and moved to Culver Lake in 1989. She was a 1986 graduate of Montville High School then attended Green Mountain College in Vermont graduating in 1990. Michele enjoyed many outdoor activities including horseback riding and ice-skating on Culver Lake.
Michele was predeceased by her mother, Cecille P. Hamilton in 2015. She is survived by her children, Julianna Moorhouse and Sam Moorhouse; her father, Richard B. Hamilton; and her brother, Rick Hamilton.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St, Branchville, NJ.
