Mary Ann P. Kopycienski, 78, of the Culver Lake section of Frankford Township, passed peacefully in the presence of her family on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice in Fredon Township.
Mary Ann was born in Newark, raised in Belleville and was a longtime Sussex County resident. She was a pharmacy technician for 30 years at Family Drug Shop in Branchville. Mary Ann was a crafter and enjoyed the arts. She was also a devoted member of the Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. parish in Branchville for many years.
Mary Ann was predeceased by her parents, Jules Anthony and Barbara (Ressetar) Pellek; her beloved husband of 52 years, Richard Kopycienski; and her brother, John “Jack” Pellek. She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Kopycienski (Jason Kiss) of Branchville, and Cheryl Williver (Thomas) of Stillwater; her granddaughters, Katie and Megan Williver; her sisters-in-law, Anne Kopet of Rockaway, Ann Jesienski of Bayville and Margaret Pellek of San Antonio, Texas; her brother-in-law, John Bocak of Garfield; her close friend, Lauren Dougherty; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St, Branchville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 209 U.S. Highway 206 Branchville. Interment will be held privately at Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Sparta.
