Born in Union City, NJ March 3, 1937 to August & Anna Meyer (Roesing).
Arriving as an infant with her family to Augusta, she grew up in Meyer’s General Store, she helped with the post office, gas pumping, and running the store.
Attended Frankford Plains one room schoolhouse, and attended the first graduating Class of Frankford Township Elementary. Graduating from Newton High School Class of 1955.
Married Harry E. Vealey in 1955, settling in Lafayette, NJ where she raised her family.
Later relocating to Branchville with her four children Danny (Jacquie), Christopher (Karen), Mike (Renee), Kelly Wilson (Dave) all of Frankford Twp.
Annie worked at Sandyston Twp School, Belchers Village Market Branchville, Retiring from Hare Hollow Country Gifts, Milford PA.
She was the neighborhood MOM to the many of kids on baseball and wrestling teams. All the kids gravitated to the Vealey House because they were provided a warm home environment, delicious food, and treated like her own.
She loved her gardens and animals. Keeping beautiful flowers beds on the meticulously maintained property. All of the animals on the Vealey homestead brought her so much enjoyment. Training her own horses, raising goats, rabbits and more.
Annie enjoyed entertaining family and friends at the home, many holidays were held there all year round following her Mom’s traditions and passing these onto her own children.
She was an accomplished watercolor artist winning prizes at the SC Farm & Horse Show. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, playing cards with family, various board games and going for long rides in the country. Mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family where ever it may lead her.
Her truly greatest accomplishment were her grandchildren. Their presence made her the happiest and brought immense joy to her heart.
Rachel, Monique, Steven, Alisha, Brandon, Monica, Katie & Kyle and the latest two great granddaughters.
Survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, her two sister in laws, friends and neighbors.
Predeceased by her parents, brothers Robert, August & Ronald, and the father of her children Harry E. Vealey.
