

Sixto Arcangel Viduya, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on March 30, 2025, at Brampton Civic Hospital surrounded by his family at the age of 83. He was born on August 6, 1941, in Mangaldan, Pangasinan, Philippines to the late Aquilino Sr. and Priscila Viduya.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Laureta for 58 wonderful years.
Beloved father to Judy (Steve) Martin, Joy (Giovanni) Ieraci, Nina (Leo) Lacava, Rommel (Mary Grace) Viduya and the late Jose Viduya.
Cherished Lolo to Jacob (Sapna), Joshua & Victoria Martin, Antonio Ieraci, and Mya & Ivy Viduya.
Dear brother to Aquilino Jr. (Isabel), and his late siblings Andres Sr., Romeo, Maria “Mely” Sarzaba, Mario and Maximo Viduya.
Sixto will be dearly missed by his brother-in-law, Tito Sarzaba and his sisters-in-law, Juana Viduya, Lita Abiog, Rosie Ramos, Elizabeth (Lamberto) Parulan, Ledwina (Elvis) Bustos and the long list of friends and family members, whose lives he touched with his generosity, kindness and devotion to his faith.
A Mechanical Engineer in the Philippines, he worked as a Mechanic in Canada. He was a master Mechanic who taught many Apprentices the trade. It was his exceptional skill, attention to detail, patience and passion for mechanics that made him a great teacher and mentor to Apprentices, colleagues, family and friends.
Sixto was active in the Catholic Church and was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. He cherished being a 4th Degree Knight and was fervent in serving God alongside his Brother Knights at St. Anthony of Padua Church and the Catholic community. He prayed the rosary everyday with his loving Laureta, which provided him with unwavering strength and faith. May he rest in eternal peace.
