My deepest sympathy to all who loved and cared for Phil.  Phil, I wish we got to speak one last time so I could say thank you for being a great friend to me.  You were there for me in some of the most difficult times of my life and for that I am eternally grateful.  Phil, you have left this world too soon and my world will not be the same without you in it.  Rest in peace my dear friend.

You were more than a neighbour to me, rather like a big brother.  You were always there for me when needed you. Your hands are literally in almost every construction at home I’ve ever attempted. Plus I couldn’t have built my restaurant without you. I know I will feel it even more once the sun comes out and your not here to share a beer and smoke with me.
