Giulia De Bartolo

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Giulia De Bartolo at Brampton Civic Hospital on May 8, 2024 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Gaspare De Bartolo. Loving mother of Louie (Loretta), Carlo-deceased (Maureen), Ron (Grace) and Paolo. Loving grandmother of Julie-Anne (Russel), Nicole (James), Adam (Sarah), Mellisa-deceased, Dylan, Nicolis and Jeremy. Loving great grandmother of Brooke, Alexa, Rebecca, Lincoln, Flint, Destiny and Ashton.

Giulia was born on October 24, 1937 in Calabria, Italy to the late Francesco and Angelina Principe. She immigrated to Canada in the mid 1950’s. She will be forever loved and missed by all her family, friends and neighbours. Her legacy of love, compassion and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

The family extends its warmest thanks to the team at Tullamore Care Community for their loving care, especially during her final days.

A visitation will be held at Andrews Community Funeral Centre, 8190 Dixie Rd., Brampton, ON L6T 5N9, on Wednesday May 15, 2024 from 4pm-8pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday May 16, 2024 at 10:30am. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Internment will take place at Brampton Cemetery, 10061 Chinguacousy Rd., Brampton, ON.
