Frannie & Richie, inseparable....Frannie now held in the heart and memory of Richie in such as special way...as well as in the hearts and memories of all the rest of us who were privileged to call her friend, family and cousin.  
I always loved her infectious laugh and sounds of feigned exasperation...
Thinking of you Richie (or is that now the formal Frank) as you mourn her passing, yet celebrate her life in the Kingdom to come.

Fran was one of the first people I met when I moved to the "J" section of Bramalea.  We worked together at Jefferson Public School and were referred to by the kids as the "Lunch Bags"!  I have many fond memories of Fran, as she always had something to tell you, but was also a good listener when you needed to talk.  Fran loved her family and they meant the world to her.  I think her favorite pastime was shopping!  You could always count on bumping into Fran at the Bramalea City Centre, and we'd always have a quick catch-up on each other's families.  Fran was a great friend to everyone, and I miss her dearly.

Fran and I met in 1975 when we moved into Jasmine Square.. The kids were all young then and my girls and Frans kids all played together... I have many, many memories of Fran... but a couple that I remember were that she needed a dress for some ""do"..  We started off early in the day, going to Bramalea City Centre... she tried on about 15 dresses,,, but could'nt really decide... we then went off to a outlet centre in Scarborough or Weston.... nothing... we ended up back at Bramalea City Centre with only a few minutes before they closed... that was Fran..I also have to thank her for my spagetti sauce...she always told me the secret was keeping it on the stove all day... I never forgot that piece of advice...Thanks Fran for your friendship and I'll never forget you.

My Grandma was the best Grandma in the world no matter what anybody else says about their Grandma's, mine was the best! She was my best friend and I spent a lot of time with her. There is so much I could say about her! But I'll have to pick just a couple. When I was in kindergarden, you didn't go to school everyday and everyday my brother and I didn't go to school me and my brother and my baby brother would go to my Grandma and Papa's house! It was a lot of fun and my Grandma taught me so many things like how to play bingo and she taught me the song "All I Want For    Christmas Are My Two Front Teeth" when I lost my front teeth around Christmastime! She also always made me laugh an I trusted her so much! I told her everything and she always came to watch my performances like dancing, singing, plays all that kind of stuff and she loved to see it all! She loved the trailer and everyone in it and she always went shopping with my Mom and me for stuff to eat at the trailer. Her dinner though, was the best food I've ever tasted and will ever taste! Spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread! I have never tasted anything else like it! If you've ever tasted it you know it's too good to even explain! Well all in all my Grandma was the best and I could not beleive it when I heard the news! GOODBYE GRANDMA I LOVE YOU AND I MISS YOU!!!!!!!!

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning That God would call your name; In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same, It broke our hearts to lose you; you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you, that day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; But as God calls us one-by-one, our chain will link again.   I MISS U GRANDMA!?

My Grandma was the best Grandmother in the world, she was my best friend, i looked up to her and thought and still think she is the coolest grandma on the planet ,she means the world to me. i know she is always watching over me, and i will always cherish the Great memories i had with my grandma, everytime around christmas me and my sister would always go to grandmas and make gingerbread houses that never seemed to work out and we would just end up eating it all. That memory will stick with me forever!She made everything funn! Grandma always made every christmas, easter, thanksgiving, or family event a good one and i will always try my best to carry on my grandmas traditions.No matter what you were going through she always had the best advice for anything, you could talk to her about anything and she would always listen, my grandmas a fighter i will never forget that!! my grandma is always with me and is forever in  my heart i misss her VERY much , but i know she is always looking down on me i lovee youu grrandddmmaaa <3

My Aunt Frances is an Angel. I have many happy memories of her. I know she is watching over us right now. She will be there to welcome each and everyone of us when our time comes. Life is very short. Never say goodbye to our LOVED ONES..Dearest Auntie Frances...We will all see you later.

We had a special welcome from both Frank and Fran to Spring Valley on our first night there. We are very saddened by her passing, but take solice on her getting her dream trip last year.

My Mom-Love from Cheryl

My mom was a strong,kind,warm friendly lady. She was loved dearly by all.
So many people have come to me and expressed these same features about me. My answer to them was. Thank my mom as she was the one that raised all these good qualities in me.
My mom was my Best Friend. We had alot of good times together.She was always there for me.
She was thrilled when we picked out my wedding dress,She was there when my kids were born.
WE had some good times at the trailer during my 10 years with my husband Trevor and raising our two kids Thomas and Jessica.
Mom and I enjoyed each others company,we would have great times going shopping,out for meals or just talking. We always laughed,laughed so hard until we cried. Mom enjoyed coming over to our house ,especially when the holidays arrived and I would cook the meals for the family.
So in turn, when mom took ill. I was there for her.I would be by her side and encouraging her to get strong again. I stayed long days and sometimes even over night to be by her side.
Mom and I expressed our love to each other many times during  her illness and we made peace with each other.
I miss you mom and love you dearly.

MY GRANDMA By Sarah
Frances Richards, her husband and friends call her Fran or Frannie and her kids call her Ma or Mom. But me, I call her Grandma. Frances Spino and her friends would jump rope, play ball on the wall, or see movies on Saturday afternoons. She would have one pair of shoes, and not a whole lot of tv. Her parents were strict, but she still had lots of fun. When she was older, she went to a grocery store to get a job and met Francis Richards or Frank and guess what, they got married and had five children, Cheryl, Nancy, Tom, Blaine (Blaine is my Dad) and Jeff. Now, my Grandma likes bingo and line dancing. My Grandma is a great cook. I really like dinner at her house. My Grandma is also very nice. She cares about me and my brothers and my cousins so much. She really loves seeing us. She loves going up to her trailer and nothing is better than when the rest of the family is up there with her. My Grandma means a lot to me. She always has fun when she is with us and she is talking with me and asking how I am doing. family means a lot to everybody. I love Thanksgiving and Christmas and things like that because I get to be with my family, and whether Grandma is in the hospital or at home we always visit her. My Grandma is really nice and loving and I am so glad she is my Grandma. My Grandma is in my prayers because she has been in and out of the hospital a lot and I want that to stop.

Fran was a special lady, I was sadden by the news. I regret that I didn't get to see her when I was down in May. She will be always in my thoughts.
