It is with tremendous sadness we share the news of Diane’s passing. On Wednesday, September 8th 2021, Diane Patricia McDonald (nee Wright) passed away peacefully at her home in Brampton surrounded by loved ones. Diane was the beloved wife of Ron for over 55 incredible years. She was the loving mother of sons Jeffrey, Wesley (wife Krista), and Gordon. Survived by younger brother Gregory (wife Carolyn) of North Bay. Predeceased by her mother Dorothy Agnes (nee Holm) and father Robert Kelso Wright. Cherished grandmother of Kaylee (Troy), Karina, Rory, Audrey, and Charlotte. Devoted pet mom to many, including Peggy Sue and Terry Fox, and many stray cats. Diane lived a life full of love and laughter. She had a love for travel, which she was able to pursue in her first career as a flight attendant. She loved saving animals, dancing, Elvis Presley’s music, anything leopard print, celebrating all the good times, and spending time with her friends and loved ones. Diane had a joyous sense of humour, with the ability to make everyone laugh and also have a good laugh at herself. The loss of Diane has left a hole in all of our hearts, and she will always be greatly missed.

The scheduled services for Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 1pm-3pm have been cancelled. The memorial will be rescheduled at a later date. The family apologizes for this but are grateful for your support.
