Anne Ward Armstrong

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the Armstrong family announce the peaceful passing of Anne Armstrong in Brampton, ON on Sunday August 15, 2021, after a 10-year battle with Dementia. Beloved wife of George Armstrong for 60 wonderful years. Loving mother to George and Carol. Cherished Grandmother to Ryan, Holly, Britney, Rory and a Great-Grandmother to Elaine. Anne is survived by brother Tommy and sisters Eileen and Rose Mary Anne was born to Douglas and Rose Savage in 1941 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Anne will be missed by those whose lives she touched and will be affectionately remembered by her many relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Hawthorn Woods Care Community, Brampton for the excellent care, love and support that Anne received over the last 4 years.

Family and friends may gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre - 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles Avenue) 905-456-8190, on Thursday, August 19, 2021, from 10am-12pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home following the visitation at 12pm.
