She was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan on March 8, 1935.
June graduated from Iron Mountain High School.
She was married to Edward, (Ed), Brown on October 14th, 1960.
June worked as a Michigan Bell telephone operator, a radio talk show host, and a school cook. After retiring to Florida with Ed, they traveled around the country in their motor home, selling crafts that she and Ed had made.
June was a lifelong member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of the Elks, Red Hat Society, and was active in many other civic organizations.
June was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marion Horn, her husband Ed, grandsons Eric and Alan, and Son-in-law Wally Steinhoff.
She is survived by children, Paula, (Ed), Dombroski, Pamala Brown, and Penney, (Curtis), Stack. Grandchildren, Jason Smith, Austin, Bailey, (Josh), and Aaron Stack. Great grandchild Mariah (Dom) Salinski, Great-great grandchild Amira Salinski, Sister-in-law Mary, (Steve) Parent, several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A visitation for June will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Ave East, Bradenton, FL 34203. A graveside service will occur Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Ave East, Bradenton, FL 34203. A reception will occur Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 1221 53rd Ave East, Bradenton, FL 34203.
