A Celebration of Life for Jon Weiner will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Manasota Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Pastor Alan Bosmeny will officiate the services.
He was born in Woodstock, Illinois on October 25, 1974 to Nancy and John Weiner. Jon passed away at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. He was 44 years old.. Out of high school Jon served in the United States Coast Guard. After he worked in Illinois for several years and decided to relocate to Florida. Jon was largely self-employed most of his working career, having several business in the construction field. Jon will always be remembered for being a wonderful father and putting his boys first. He loved spending time outdoors with them going four-wheeling, fishing and boating. His friends would say that he had a big heart and would give the shirt off his own back to those in need.
Jon is survived by his children Nathaniel and Lucas Weiner: mother, Nancy Weiner; and brother, Mike Weiner. He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Weiner.
