Harold, fondly known as "grump", was born to Harold and Louise Morris on June 4, 1944, in Romulus, Michigan. He worked as an Auto Mechanic for Bill Graham Ford, Bradenton before proudly opening his own shop in Oneco, Harold's Auto Repair.
He was a lover of cars and was a master mechanic. Harold could get anything with a motor running and was well known in the community as your go to person if your car wouldn't start. He could fix anything from your car to your mower to even your generator before the hurricane hit. Harold loved helping others and would drop anything for his friends and neighbors. He adored his three children, Tim, Amy and Jeff. Harold also loved his five grandchildren very much and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them through the years. He was also extremely proud to be a Great Grandfather and wear the title of "papa Harold". Harold and Daphne are members of the West Bradenton Baptist Church Family. He was a believer and we rest knowing we will all see him again someday.
Harold is survived by his bride of 57 years, Daphne and his three beloved children Tim, Amy and Jeff. Harold is predeceased by his parents Harold and Louise and his three siblings Rudy, Bob, and Donna.
Harold's family will host a celebration of life service on Wednesday November 29, 2023, at West Bradenton Baptist Church. Visitation at 10am, with service at 11am. Burial will be immediately following at Manasota Memorial Park Oneco, Florida.
The family invites visitors to stop by their home for a reception immediately following burial. Please see a family member for location.
