Dr. Gabriel Lugo Rodriguez, age 43, of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 15, 1980, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Gabriel was a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who devoted his career to helping young people navigate the challenges of mental health, leaving a lasting impact on countless lives.

Gabriel was a devoted husband to Jessica Collazo Martínez, with whom he shared 23 wonderful years. Together, they built a beautiful family and raised two sons, Gabriel Lugo and Eduardo Lugo, who were the light of his eyes. His family was his greatest joy, and he poured his heart into creating lasting memories filled with love, laughter, and adventure.

Gabriel had a lifelong love for superheroes and gaming, a passion that he shared with his family. To them, he was the ultimate superhero—always strong, loving, and ready to protect them at any moment. His optimistic spirit, infectious sense of humor, and unwavering dedication made him the true hero of their lives.

Gabriel is also survived by his mother, Sonia N. Rodríguez Almodóvar, and his sister, Valerie Lugo Rodriguez. He will be remembered as an amazing person who brought joy, love, and inspiration to everyone who knew him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and strength that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A visitation for Gabriel will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center, 4310 Solutions Lane, Bradenton, FL 34211, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM.

Dr. Gabriel Lugo Rodríguez, de 43 años, residente de Lakewood Ranch, Florida, falleció pacíficamente el 9 de agosto de 2024, rodeado de su amada familia. Nacido el 15 de noviembre de 1980 en San Juan, Puerto Rico, Gabriel fue un Psiquiatra de Niños y Adolescentes que dedicó su carrera a ayudar a los jóvenes a enfrentar los desafíos de la salud mental, dejando un impacto duradero en innumerables vidas.

Gabriel fue también un esposo devoto de Jessica Collazo Martínez, con quien compartió 23 maravillosos años. Juntos, construyeron una hermosa familia y criaron a dos hijos, Gabriel Lugo y Eduardo Lugo, quienes eran la luz de sus ojos. Su familia fue su mayor alegría, y puso todo su corazón en crear recuerdos llenos de amor, risas y aventuras.

Gabriel tenía un amor de toda la vida por los superhéroes y los videos juegos, una pasión que compartió con su familia. Para ellos, él era el superhéroe definitivo: siempre fuerte, amoroso y listo para protegerlos en cualquier momento. Su espíritu optimista, su contagioso sentido del humor y su inquebrantable dedicación lo convirtieron en el verdadero héroe de sus vidas.

Gabriel también es sobrevivido por su madre, Sonia N. Rodriguez Almodóvar, y su hermana, Valerie M. Lugo Rodriguez. Será recordado como una persona increíble que trajo alegría, amor e inspiración a todos los que lo conocieron.
