For nearly 10 years he was a resident of Bradenton Florida. Frank was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on 16 January 1940 to Anna and Frank Schlake, Sr. When he was young, they purchased a property in Morrow, Ohio. He grew up farming. Even later in life, armchair farming watching RFDTV and ‘thinking about what he could think about’ were some of the many loves of his life.
He graduated from Little Miami High School. He served in the Army National Guard of Ohio. An entrepreneur, he ran his commercial truck cleaning business, Moba-Kleen for over 20 years.
He married Anna in March of 1978, they lived in Cincinnati for a number of years before moving to Morrow Ohio and then retiring to Bradenton.
He was proceeded, in death by his wife, Anna Schlake and brother Bernie Schlake. He is survived by his daughters, AJ Schlake and Jennifer Hammiel; son John Schlake as well as grandchildren Lucian Betz and Griffin Betz, Kole Gentry and Alex Gentry, Austin Schlake and Kassie Eves, and great-granddaughter Morgan Eves.
A celebration of a life well-lived will be held later in 2024 in Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tidewell Hospice Foundation.
