Sunday March 5, 2017 from injuries that resulted from
an accident at work. He was born September 30, 1960
in New Haven Connecticut. To those who knew him best,
he was John. John's love for automobiles began at an
early age, racing motorbikes competitively. He often
complained to his mother that his bike was not fast
enough, making it impossible to win, to which she replied:
"Don't race then." This propelled him forward to be the very
best with exactly what he had. That motivation and drive never
left him. At the tender age of eight, John began his own
lawn care business, and every day since he has
been an entrepreneur and innovator. He successfully
opened and ran Magic Trucking, On Site Truck Repair,
Affordable Tire, and South Florida Mobile.
Outside of his work, he was a dedicated father, and loved
his two sons tremendously. He was an avid pool player,
and competed extensively throughout the country.
He seized each and every opportunity to teach anyone
around him "the perfect shot."
He took refuge in riding his motorcycle throughout his
beloved town of Bradenton, and working on his El Camino on
warm summer nights. John was a force to be reckoned with
throughout his life, and will remain that way for all of time.
He was bold, he was fearless, and he was unfiltered. He
was unapologetically his own person, and uncompromising
in what he believed to be true. He was,
in many ways, the backbone of his family, and a light to
anyone lucky enough to call him their friend. He will be
deeply missed, but always loved.
He is survived by the love of his life, Anne Marcille, and a
large, much beloved family. His two sons, Michael Thomas
Johnson and Matthew Thomas Johnson. His sister, Lynn
Johnson. His step-daughter, Loren Ivans, and granddaughter,
Aurora Ivans. His nephews, Joseph Andrews Jr.,
Jayson Andrews, Sean Averso, Bryan Andrews, Nolan Andrews,
and Avan Andrews. His god-daughter and niece,
Sue Andrews Bernier. His nieces, Katie Bernier,
Beth Bernier, Ally Bernier, and Chole Averso. He is
preceded in death by his father, Ernest Hubert Johnson Senior,
his brother, Joseph Thomas Andrews Senior, and his mother,
Lena Helen Andrews Johnson. Visitation and Memorial
