David Floyd Willmore, age 68, of Bradenton, Florida, and formerly of Greenville, Michigan, passed away on October 1, 2015, at Tidewell Hospice in Bradenton. He was born on November 27, 1946, the son of Floyd and Treva (Smith) Willmore, who both preceded him in death. David graduated from Greenville High School in 1965. He worked in the offices of Frigidaire for thirty years. On April 20, 1979, he married Joanne Wygant in Greenville. In 2002 they moved to Bradenton where David worked at Coldwell Banker REO and did volunteer work at the Manatee County Sheriff's Department. Dave is survived by his wife, Joanne; their sons, Scott (Megan) Willmore of Hudsonville, Michigan, and Mark (Rebecca) Willmore of Land O Lakes, Florida; grandchildren Samantha, Logan, and Isabel of Hudsonville, Blake and Colton of Land O Lakes; his sister, Julie (Gary) Sirrine of Sebring, Florida; brothers in law Jerry (Sheryl) Wygant and Tom (Florenta) Wygant; other relatives and many good friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 7, from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Garden Lakes clubhouse, 5499 37th St. E., Bradenton, as well as on Saturday, October 24, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Hurst Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service.
