Charles Lee Fisher, 82, of Lakewood Ranch, FL and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on August 16, 2024. He was born on December 10, 1941, to Charles Lee Ellis Fisher and Ruth Elizabeth Somers Fisher. He attended Beaver Falls High School and graduated in 1959. He then attended Penn State University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in 1963. He had a successful career with General Motors as an Executive with the Oldsmobile Division from 1963 until retiring in 1995. He sold 100,000+ Oldsmobile’s in the New York zone in 1986.
Charles was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) Fraternity, HOA board member, and was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church. He served as Volunteer Chairman for the American Lung Association of the Gulfcoast of Florida. He enjoyed watching the Rays play, golf, Broadway, fishing, and boating. He was known to have a generous heart and enjoyed sharing unique experiences with people he met and cared about. He loved his family and was a strong family man.
Charles is survived by his wife, Louise Fisher, Son Charles (Chip) L. Fisher, Jr., Daughter Laura Lee Fisher Kenney (Michael Kenney), Granddaughter Samantha Michelle Kenney, and Sisters Barbara Manzini and Marilyn Jackson. He was predeceased by his parents Chuck and Ruth Fisher and his stepmother Betty Fisher.
Charles will be remembered as a man who lived well, loved his family, and the Lord.
A celebration of Life will occur on Friday, August 23, 2024, 4:00pm at Robert Toale and Sons Celebration of Life Center at 4310 Solutions Lane, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34211. A reception will follow immediately.
