Born in Norristown. He was a son of the late Jean W. (Woehling) and Clarence W. Bosler.
William was last employed as the president of Boyertown Fabricators in Gilbertsville for over 40 years until his retirement in 2015. He previously worked for Pillsbury of Green Lane, Pennco Products in Oaks, and B&S Specialties in Pottstown for 5 years as a fabricator.
He served briefly in the USAF, after high school.
William was a ham radio enthusiast for many years using the callsign WF3M. He was an active member of the Pottstown Area Amateur Radio Club. He was also a lifelong musician, playing steel guitar, fiddle, banjo and acoustic guitar. Willie's last band was Steel Junction.
He is survived by his sons, Colin W. husband of Cheryl A. Bosler of Whitehall and Trevor T. husband of Bonnie J. Bosler of Boyertown.Grandchildren, Timothy Bosler, husband of Tiffany Sanchez; Taylor Bosler, husband of Alexis Bosler; and Allyson Bosler. Great Grandchildren, Renee Pasko and Olivia Pasko.Siblings, Robert W. Bosler; Thomas S., husband of Sarah Bosler; and Mary J. widow of James MacDonald. William is predeceased by his wife Virginia A. "Ginny" (Liedenberger) Bosler, his beloved partner Lucille D. Adams, a stillborn grandchild and by his grandson Richard Pasko.
Memorial Services will be held at Wentz's United Church of Christ 3246 Skippack Pike. Landsdale. PA 19490 on Saturday September 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
Family and friends may call Saturday at church from 10:00 to 10:45 AM.
Inurnment will be in Wentz's United Church of Christ Cemetery.
