Rose Annette Arthur

Rose Annette (nee Cagle) Arthur, 80, formerly of Conway, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2023, in Buffalo, New York. She was born February 11, 1942, to the late Wallace J. and Opal M. Cagle in Clark County/Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Annette attended Magnet Cove High School, business school in Little Rock and enjoyed a long career in business administration, human resources and volunteer management. She was a member of the Avant Garde chapter of American Business Women’s Association and served as its president in 1979. She enjoyed baking and sharing her wonderful recipes with others. Annette was an avid gardener and loved watching for her favorite birds and butterflies.

She is survived by her daughter Monique Watts (Blair Woods) of Buffalo, NY; her son Timothy Sean Watts (Kimberly) of Fox Lake, IL; five grandchildren: Christopher Smith, Taylor, Hannah (Kurt Howen), Emmaly and Madeline Watts; and by her brother W.S. (Frances) Cagle of Malvern.

A celebration of her life will be held in Arkansas this summer. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the love and generosity shown to Annette by friends and family, the compassionate support by Hospice of Buffalo and the caring support of Mary Lister.
