She was born August 29, 1949, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Ervin and Gloria Blackwell, and received her Bachelor's degree in economics from Methodist College in Fayetteville, N.C. Her hobbies included cooking and shopping.
She is survived by her husband, Malloy T. Harris Jr., whom she married on Aug. 23, 1975; son, Dr. Bryant C. Harris of Bowie; brother, Webster E. Blackwell of Fayetteville, N.C.; and her parents, Ervin Blackwell of Bowie and Gloria Blackwell of Fayetteville, N.C.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with a memorial service following at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 11 at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie.
