Scott Goodale of Boulder died Sunday, February 6, 2011. He was 35. Scott was born March 24, 1975 to Thomas G. Goodale and Susan Tyner Curtis in Gainesville, Florida. He moved with his family to Colorado in 1981 and graduated from Broomfield High School in 1993. While living in Salt Lake City, Utah, he met his wife Jennifer Froh. They were married July 8, 2006 in California and have one son Asher. Scott was a professional snowboarder and independent sales representative for various snowboard and skateboard companies. For those who had the pleasure of knowing him, Scott was a kind and humble person and a positive inspiration to everyone with whom he came in contact. Scott loved snowboarding, skateboarding, and above all else, people. His eyes lit up whenever he talked about the people in his life, especially his wife and son.
Scott is survived by his wife Jennifer and son Asher, father Tom Goodale, mother Susan Curtis, stepfather Jim Curtis, brother Todd Goodale, mother in law and father in law Jean and John Froh, grandmother Frances Tyner, and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by grandparents. A celebration of Scott's life will be held at 10 am Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the St. Julien Hotel Ballroom. The family requests no flowers.
