Sandra Dee Rush

Sandra “Sandi” Dee Rush of Thornton, CO; passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021; age 76; loving wife of Stephen Rush; loving mother of sons Mathew and Brian Rush, daughters-in law Cathy and Nancy Rush; proud grandmother to Aaron, Ryan, and Aliyah. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary and Atlee. Sandi was born and raised in Indiana before moving to Boulder, CO in 1966. Sandi worked at Leanin’ Tree greeting card company for close to 30 years until she retired. Sandi loved her family, people, animals, sitting in the sun, and watching sports. She was loved by so many people. Everywhere she “hung out” people knew and adored her. She was key to keeping family ties and loved sending cards to family and friends. Sandi loved bright clothes, hats, scarfs and never missed an opportunity to celebrate and wear costumes.

A Celebration of Life service followed by a small reception is planned for Tuesday, August 24 at 11:30am at Crist Mortuary "Flatirons Hall" 3395 Penrose Pl, Boulder, CO 80301.

We know Sandi would have loved to have her friends gather in her memory. To celebrate Sandi’s cheerfulness and love of life, you are invited to wear bright colors to the celebration in her honor (optional of course).

Flowers will be received by Crist Mortuary, or donations may be made in Sandi’s name to the Boulder Humane Society.
