Martin was born in Wheat Ridge, CO on October 22, 1969. His parents were Linda and Clinton Judd. He joined his brothers Wallace and Nathan and we lived in a mobile home near Morrison, CO. We attended church in Golden at the Church of Christ. When his mother Linda remarried, we moved to Boulder. Marty was in Youth Group at church. He was on the cross country running team at Fairview HS, and graduated in 1988. He attended Fort Lewis College in Durango and graduated with a degree in Economics. Later, he enrolled in Denver Paralegal Institute and completed studies to be a paralegal. While working at a law firm, his co-workers told him, “we are too old to get a degree in Law. However, you should pursue a degree in Law.” So Martin went to law school and graduated from Denver University with Juris Doctorate in Law in 2002. Later, he met Heather and they married in 2009. They had a son Archer in 2012. In 2014, both Martin and Archer were baptized in Episcopal Church. Martin worked for EPIC doing discovery for other lawyers. He and Heather separated in 2015 and then shared custody of Archer 50-50.
Martin died on November 28th at Aurora Medical Center. He is survived by his son Archer, his mother Linda Giandinoto, and father Clinton Judd, stepfather Roger Briden, his brothers Wallace and Nathan Judd, his sister Vera Judd, his niece and nephew Sarah and Colin Judd.
Martin was a good father to Archer and they had a close bond. He worked hard at his job. He had a great sense of humor. He always chose the best greeting cards for his mother and all of them had a Bible verse.
Roger and Linda took Martin and Archer to Disneyland in October and we all had a great time.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cristmortuary.com for the Judd family.
