I was lucky enough to be raised next door to Jeanne and her family. She was always especially kind to me and I will never forget the conversations we had. She really helped me see the light at a young age. Though our families didnt get along,  I always had a special place in my heart for her. I regret not saying hello to her one last time. 

Jeanne and I both joined Althea Spiritual Community around the same time a few years ago.   I was immediately attracted to her effervescent energy and friendliness.  We spent various hours together volunteering at Althea......which also included group social events like the Co symphony and more.   
Though I haven't seen her is recent months of course, her aliveness of spirit will be treasured and missed by myself and many Althea members I know.
Sending Peace and Love to you now Jeanne, while on your next soul's journey.

It was with great shock and surprisingly deep sadness that I heard the news of Jeanne’s passing. I too knew Jeanne through Althea. We always joked about our love of bright colors and fashion and she always had a big smile and a kind word for me, I am especially grateful for the compassion and sweetness Jeanne intuitively showed me when I was going through a rough patch in my life.  I did not know Jeanne well, yet somehow that made no difference. Her big open heart and exuberant energy touched us all . I will miss Jeanne. I do now. We all will. Althea was lucky to have her in our orbit if for far too short a time. Rest in Peace Jeanne. Your Spirit is with us yet.

It's so great to see on here how my mom impacted people's lives. Her mission in life was to help people. She loved to give, she loved to serve, and she loved people. Her loss creates a hole that can't be filled. There is so much more I wish we could have done together, but I have so many wonderful memories of her that will carry me through. Mom, I love you, and I miss you. 

I met Jeanne at Althea Center.  She was such a dynamic enthusiastic soul.   I had never been kayaking before so she offered to take me and she was so helpful and kind in teaching me how to kayak.  

Another wonderful memory of Jeanne is when she saw me at Althea one Sunday and she knew by looking at me that I wasn’t ok.  I had been really sick.   She was so kind and caring and brought homemade soup to my home.

What a love.  You will be missed Jeanne!  Rest in peace sweet one.

I still can't believe Jeanne is gone, and my deepest condolences to her family.

Jeanne and I have been roommates for the past year. Not only did we share the same name, our mother's were both born on July 4th, we drove the same car in our youth, both have a son and a daughter., and so much more in common. 

Jeanne loved helping others and bonding in times of need.

I miss her so much!

I LOVED Jeanne's energy as she visited everyone @ a very special place:  Althea Spiritual Center for engaged spirituality! and where ever she went!  I really enjoyed her enthusiastic approach to life,  in moving towards her goals!  i miss her dearly.  tree wallace

Jeanne and I both started attending the Althea Center at difficult times in our lives and as I grew into my spiritual family at Althea, whether it was for Sunday services or participating in Women's Homeless Initiative activities, I could always count on Jeanne greeting me with a smile, a big hug, and some conversation. Yes, Jeanne did like to talk and I liked to listen. I have thought about her a lot in the past week and although I will always be grateful to have had her in my life, her absence going forward  leaves a small hole in my heart. Rest in peace, my friend and good luck in your journey. 

I’ve known Jeanne for 60 years.  We hung out in high school,  we were roommates when we were in our early 20’s, I was her maid of honor when she married Dan.  I can’t believe she is gone.  It seems like a bad dream.  May Jeanne rest peacefully.  Dan, Scott & Leanne, you are all in my thoughts and in my heart. 

I feel at a loss for words at the sudden passing of Jeanne Marie.
I have known her at Althea.  She would light up the space around her with her dynamic spirit and personality.
She helped me on the homeless women's program.  Always available for anything that was needed.
We also worked together in the kitchen, and she would be so enthusiastic for the meal being prepared.
I will miss her, and so will our community at Althea
