Charlene Michele Dentici-Long

Longmont, Colorado on the afternoon of April 12, 2024, at the age of 81.

Charlene is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Long, and her parents,

Michael and Anna Mae Dentici.Charlene is lovingly remembered by her sister, Jayne Gratzmiller, her daughter and son-in-law, Reyne and Edward Harrison, and two grandchildren, Andrew and Lauren Harrison.

Charlene was born on October 3,, 1942, in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. She

graduated from Kittanning High School in 1960. She attended Indiana State University in Indiana, Pennsylvania and Front Range College in Longmont, Colorado.

Charlene worked for over 20 years as an executive assistant for both Virginia Tech College in Blacksburg, Virgina, and at Ball Aerospace in Broomfield Colorado.

After retirement, Charlene worked part time as a retail clerk at The Hallmark Store, in Boulder, Colorado and JC Penny in Longmont, Colorado. She was a loving mother and friend. She relished most of all being a

grandmother. She was a devoted member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church, in Niwot, Colorado.

A visitation for Charlene will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 at 9:00 AM at Crist Mortuary Chapel, Boulder, Colorado. A funeral service will occur Friday, April 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Crist Mortuary, 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder, CO 80301. A graveside service will occur Monday, April 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery Staging area "A".

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for expenses.
