Kenneth “Cameron” Ingram-Lyle was born in Bountiful, Utah on May 24, 1976. In November of 1976, he was officially adopted by his parents Kenneth Lyle and Brenda Ingram- Lyle. Cameron was a beautiful baby boy inside and out. He always marched to his own “drum”. He was and is the light of our family--our strength and our joy. Cameron was a steady as a rock, never wavering in his sense of right and wrong. He was always clear with everyone on what was acceptable behavior to him and what wasn’t. He never would abide conflict or drama. He lived his life in a way that made sense to him, never making any apologies. Cameron died in a car accident at 1:45 a.m. on August 10, 2019.
Cameron loved cooking, Star Wars, motorcycles, Japanese Anime, and Science Fiction in general. He collected comic books, and fixed all of our electronics; there was nothing technical that Cameron could not figure out how to fix. He was the family photographer, taking and capturing many of our precious family memories.
Cameron attended Jarrow Montessori Preschool, Boulder Valley School District’s Crestview Elementary, Centennial Middle and Alexander Dawson private K-12th school. He loved football and transferred to Boulder High School for one year to play on their last State Championship football team. He loved that experience, but decided soon after that public school was not for him and returned to Dawson, even though it meant he had to repeat a year of high school. He attended Community College of Denver and was a Certified Television Technician. Education and learning new things were extremely important to him.
He was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Saints, participating in their scouting programs and other church activities, and playing in the church’s baseball team. Cameron held employment in various cable technical companies. At the time of his death, he was an employee of Charter Communications, Inc.
Cameron was a dedicated family member and friend who touched the lives of thousands. He lit up a room just with his magnificent presence. He will be remembered by all who loved him and we will forever remember his smile, and his gentle spirit.
Cameron is survived by his father, Kenneth, his mother, Brenda, his grandmother, Ira Ingram, his two sisters L’Shawn and Nanette, brother Jamathan and brother-law Douglas Howard, two nieces Naomi and Britney, three nephews, Omari, TJ, and James, and his sister/cousins Demetria, Shalanda, and Reina and a host of other cousins, uncles, aunts and friends.
A graveside funeral will be held on Saturday, August 24th, 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Park, Boulder Colorado. A Celebration of Life with food, drinks and sharing memories of Cameron will be held at his family home in Longmont, Colorado immediately after the funeral services.
