William "Billy" Bruno

William G. “Billy” Bruno of Winthrop and formerly of the North End, passed away on June 1, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Joyce (Iannacone) Bruno. Loving father of Robin Bruno and Nicole Lapiana and her husband Christopher of Stoneham. Cherished Papa of Nicolas and Sofia Joy. Dear brother of Barbara Maldero and Peter Bruno, both of the North End, the late Vito Bruno, Joseph Bruno, Pauline Centore, Ralph Bruno, Rocco Bruno, Angie DiBisceglia and Louis Bruno. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 9am to 10:30am in St. Leonard Church, 320 Hanover St., Boston with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30am. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Billy’s name may be made to St. Leonard Church.
