Michele Ann Tirella

Michele A. Tirella, 73, lifelong resident of the North End of Boston, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Beloved daughter of the late Michael J. and Marie L. Tirella. Michele is the devoted sister of Marie (ReRe) G. Bamonte of Boston. She is the beloved aunt of Matthew Michael Bamonte Sr. and his wife Jaclyn of Winthrop, Nicholas Wanasa of Winthrop and the great aunt of Matthew Michael Jr. and Christopher Bamonte.

Michele was a loving and devoted, sister, aunt, great aunt, friend and loved spending time with her family, friends and traveling.

She worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for over 40 years. She was an active member of St. Lucy’s Society of the North End. She loved going to the Encore Casino, the Italian Riviera (North End Pool) and the Patio with her loving friends.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, December 19, 2022, from 9am to 10am at the Saint Leonard’s Church, 320 Hanover Street Boston, MA 02113, followed by a funeral mass at 10am. Funeral services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery 302 Elm Street, Everett, MA 01249. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Leonard Church, 150th Anniversary Fund in memory of Michele Tirella.
