Shelby Jean Jones

Shelby Jean Jones, 75, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Cornerstone Health and Rehab of Corinth. She was born December 10, 1938, to James Thomas “Tom” and Ramer Lee Hill Wiginton. She was a beautician, and a member of Hill Top Church of God.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 14, 2013, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rayburn Richardson and Bro. Ed Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Jacinto Cemetery.

She is survived by four sons, Mike (Rhea) Epperson of Burnsville, Jamie (Tammy) Epperson of Midway, Kenny (Athena) Jones and Kevin Jones, both of Jacinto; two sisters, Agnes Wheeler of Jacinto and Helen Pettego of Kirkville; one brother, Cleve Wiginton of Jacinto; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sherry and Charolette Epperson; her parents; one sister, Evelyn Long; and one brother, J.C. Wiginton.

Pallbearers are Ellis Long, Harry Wheeler, Larry George, Mike Sparks, Roy Bonds Jr. and Richard Pettego.

Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Logan Jones and Brice Epperson.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
