Peggy Carpenter Grisham

Peggy Jean Grisham, 68, died Sunday, February 6, 2011, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born August 17, 1942, to W.C. and Dale Lambert Carpenter. She was a factory worker, and a Baptist. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her family.

Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Allen Jones officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery.

She is survived her husband of 48 years, Henry T. Grisham; four daughters, Cindy Grisham, Tracey (Ronnie) Wren, Hailey Grisham and Leea Grisham, all of Booneville; a son, Marty (Cindy) Grisham of Booneville; one sister, Vilene (Keith) Johnsey of Rienzi; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Carpenter and Louise Carpenter; six grandchildren, Greg Grisham, Brock (Cassie) Grisham, Leigh Ann Wren, B.J. Morris, Eddie (Candace) Morris and James Morris; and three great-grandchildren, Carlee Grisham, Caden Bowen and Wyatt Morris.

She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, L.C., Raymond, Ruel, Ruben and Harold Carpenter; and two sisters, Janie Ellis and Jewel Carpenter.

Pallbearers are Doyle Taylor, Tommy Taylor, Jason Jackson, David Wayne Riddle, Richard Chittom, Terry Cole, Danny Michael and Jeff Warren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, February 07, 2011, at the funeral home.
