James William Thornton, 82, passed away on Friday March 3rd, 2023, at his residence. James was born on February 5th, 1941, to Lefus and Myrtle Thornton. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired as a truck driver.
James is survived by his brother, Charles Thornton; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death the by his father, Lefus Thornton; his mother, Myrtle Fortner Thornton; his wife, Marilyn Thornton; and his son James Thornton.
