Estelle Skelton

Estelle Skelton, 90, of Rienzi passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at her home in Rienzi. She was a member of the Antioch # 2 Baptist Church. She was a nurse for over thirty years. She loved crocheting, fishing, hummingbirds, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

A Celebration of life will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Rex Bullock and Bro. David George officiating. Burial will be in the Danville Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 P.M. on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at the funeral home.

She is survived by her son Rick Skelton; her daughter, Myra Yarbrough (Jerry); her grandchildren, Andy Skelton (Casandra), Lee Skelton, and Tiffany Hilburn (Brandon); her great-grandchildren, Byron Skelton, Joy Skelton, Khloey Hilburn, and Macie Claire Hilburn; her brother, Roy Inman (Martha); and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Thelma Inman; her first husband, Joy Skelton; her second husband, Glen Skelton; her son, Hayden Joy Skelton; her brother, Jerry Inman; her sisters; Maria Barnes (Bill) and Frankie Sartin (Robert Earl) and her granddaughter, April Skelton.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Hester, Kenneth Green, Joy Skelton, Byron Skelton, Eddie Clark and Jerry McCreary.
