Della Thomas

Della Ann Thomas, 80, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Baldwyn Nursing Facility in Baldwyn. She was born October 19, 1937, to Joseph and Emma Edge Woodruff. She worked for Northeast Mississippi Community College and Prentiss Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and visiting with her family.

A celebration of life service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 9, 2018, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Pete McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Gaston Cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathy (Joel) Holley, Carolyn (Terry) Mathis and Linda Strange; two sons, Lawrence Ray (Dianne) Thomas and John Thomas; seven grandchildren, Melissa (Aaron) Hartley, Amy (Jeff) Gentry, Johnathan (Brandy) Mathis, Matthew (JoAnna) Mathis, Toni Strange, Cass Strange and Jada Strange; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Thomas in 1998; her parents; three sisters; two brothers; and one granddaughter, Amanda Thomas.

Visitation will Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
