Alice Lambert

Alice Smith Lambert, 92, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born April 12, 1931, to Earl and Lena Smith. She was a member of Jones Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Alice enjoyed playing the piano and guitar, singing in church, traveling, and spending quality time with her grandchildren

Funeral services will be at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Leanard Ball officiating. Burial will be at Jones Chapel Free Will Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at McMillan Funeral Home.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan Bonds (Tony); her sister, Shirley Johnson; her son-in-law, David Bearden; her two grandchildren, Starsky Bearden (Samantha) and Shane Bonds (Cammie); and her two great-grandchildren, Brianna Bearden and Weston Bonds.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Lambert; her parents, Earl Smith and Lena Smith; her daughter, Diane Bearden; and her sisters, Mauvoline Harling, Earnestine Cooksey, Clynese Wilson, Eloise Williams, and Pearl Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Shane Bonds, Starsky Bearden, Randy Lambert, Don Lambert, John Stevens, and Tulon Coker.
