Virginia Mae Chapman

Born on March 24th, 1942 in Torrance, California to proud parents Clint and Naomi Skeens. She was one of nine brothers and sisters: Clint, Joanne, Doris, David, Greg, Dianne, Medford and Debbie. She was known to them, as always DeeDee.

She was the beloved wife of Richard Charles Chapman for nearly 34 years.

She leaves behind 6 adult children: Linda, Angel, Tommy, Danny, Doris and Lil Richard.

She also leaves behind an impressive total of 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren along with her beloved dog Annie, whom she considered her heart.

She was a very kind and generous person. Family and love were always what motivated her. She loved to dance and to work in her yard. She loved to see something grow from working with her own two hands in the soil.

She loved everyone and always just wanted everyone to know that Jesus is always the answer. Even in death.

Whether she was a mom or a grandmother or a sister, an aunt, etc...she was loved in all aspects of her life. She always took pride in her work no matter the job. She was a very hard worker.

On March 21, 2020, our sister in Christ was delivered home.

She will be missed very much by all her family and many, many friends.

Those that knew her well can probably remember her with unsweetened iced tea with lemon, on the porch with dad and her animals.

Oh, how she loved all of God's animals.

Virginia (DeeDee) will forever and ever be loved in our hearts as well as in our minds.
