Michelle Dawn Sakamoto, age 48, of San Diego, California passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Michelle was born on March 24, 1976.
Michelle Dawn Sakamoto (March 24, 1976 – October 24, 2024) was born in Baguio City, Philippines to Felix and Lorna Aquino. She spent her early years in Florida, Hawaii, and Washington before moving to San Diego in 1986. Michelle’s pride and joy was her family, spending time with them and supporting them in baseball, softball and soccer. She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers. She often cleaned and organized but also enjoyed being creative making gifts for others. Michelle was generous and fun to be around, her perfect smile was infectious and will be missed tremendously.
Michelle is survived by her husband, David and their 4 children, Jazlyn Tabar, Max, Alani, and Reylyn. She is also survived by her parents Felix and Lorna Aquino, and sister-in-law Erika Aquino as well as many relatives and friends who love her dearly. She is predeceased by her brother Jesse Ray (JR).
