Estella Luna, at age 87, passed away peacefully with her sons by her side on April 10, 2015. She was born on January 1, 1928, in Los Angeles, California to Jose Maria Flores Flores and Ana Maria FloresFlores.
She married Mateo Luna, the love of her life, in April 1956. She has joined him in heaven, where now they are together for eternity.
She is survived by four sons, David Luna of Spring Valley, Andres Luna of Spring Valley, Arturo Luna of Spring Valley, and Richard Luna of Spring Valley, and one daughter, Yolanda Vasquez of San Diego.
She had nine grandchildren, Leticia Vasquez, Rolando Jr. Vasquez, Estella Vasquez, Martha Luna, Celina Luna, and Matthew Luna, and three great- grandchildren, Jordyn Luna, Oscar Elijah Cordero, and Rushell Henry all from San Diego, California.
She was a homemaker for fifty-nine years. She enjoyed all the gatherings with her family and friends and she loved to go out and eat her favorite food; fish tacos. She also enjoyed watching her novellas on Telemundo and her show on Saturday, "Sabado Gigante" Her favorite music artists were Vicente Fernandez, Jenni Rivera, and Los Tigres Del Norte.
She was a very loving mother and grandmother and she will be missed. We love you Mama and Abuelita. May God bless you and may you rest in peace.
