Wilson Garrett Jr.

Mr. Garrett was born in Fredericksburg, VA on the twenty seventh of April, 1947 to Mrs. Christine Jordan Garrett of Fredericksburg, VA and the late Wilson Arthur Garrett, Sr. He was a retired construction supervisor where he worked in many different types of construction.

“Mousey” was a graduate of the Falmouth High School and had the distinction of having perfect attendance and was never tardy to class. A devoted Washington Redskins fan he loved watching football. He was one who was never idle, he could always be found tinkering or working around his home. He loved his family dearly and was devoted to his family as well as his friends.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his loving wife, Nancy Norris Garrett; two sons, Troy Garrett of Bowling Green, VA, Michael Garrett of Fredericksburg, VA; a step-son, Shannon Sanders of Supply, NC; a step-daughter, Tara Sanders of Robbins, NC; two brothers, Gary Russell Garrett of Middleburg, VA, Chris Robin Garrett of Stafford, VA; grandchildren, Taylor Garrett, Megan Garrett, Grayson Garrett, Jenna Sanders, Katie Sanders, Brian Minor, Savannah Sanders, Dawson Sanders; five great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

A celebration of life will be conducted at two O’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the fourth of February, 2017 in the Chapel of White Funeral & Cremation Service, Bolivia/Supply. You are cordially invited to a gathering with the family following the service on Saturday at the home on 2565 White Cap Lane, SW, Supply, NC where refreshments will be served.

In lieu of customary remembrances the family requests with gratitude that monetary donations be made in his name to Liberty Hospice, 1120 Ocean Hwy W, Supply, NC 28462.
