Born in Dublin, Ga on March 5, 1939, she was a daughter of Roscoe Calhoun Hogan and Mary Belcher Hogan. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Bolivia, NC. She passed peacefully in her sleep on June 4, 2024.
Preceding in death, husband, Robert Wells. Survivors include two sons, Robert Allen Wells, Jr., of Burgaw, NC and friend Bill Hughes, Robert Bell and wife Linda of Atlanta, GA; five daughters, Sheila Reeves and husband Tommy of Beverly Hills, FL; Stacey Schubert and husband Ray of Panama City, FL; Stephanie Blanton and husband David of Penderlea; Regina Pardue and husband Terry of Leland, NC; Angela Gore and husband Mark of Shallotte, NC; a twin sister, Pat Helms; a sister, Rita Mullis and husband Wayne; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 14, 2024, in the White Funeral Home Chapel, 603 Ocean Highway, Bolivia, NC by the Reverend Anthony Clemmons.
