This one hits deep. I met you when you were 28, and from the start, you were full of life, always in motion. Somewhere along the way, we became close. We had our fits and our fights, but no matter what, we never stayed out of touch for long.

You weren’t just my friend—you were my rock. You protected me when I couldn’t protect myself, lifted me up when I was at my lowest, and never hesitated to be there when I needed you. And when you needed me, especially when you found out you had cancer, I was right there to answer your call too.

I’ll never forget the day you got that tattoo on your face—I called you White Mike Tyson, and you hated it, but we laughed so hard. I’ll hold on to our memories forever and keep your family and children in my prayers. Through all the storms you faced in life, you’re finally at peace. I’m going to miss you so much, but this isn’t goodbye—just until we meet again. Give your baby girl the biggest hug for me.

Brandon, we going to miss you, our hearts are forever broken. You always had a sweet hello, and a thank you always whatever anybody did for you you always said Thank you. You were just like a shooting star across the sky. But the most beautiful things are not ours to keep. It's never easy to say goodbye, but I hope in these coming weeks months and years, that we find Comfort to know the light that we shared will shine on in our hearts forever.

I started calling him Brandalyn years ago. At first, he tried to tell me “NOT BRANDALYN POOH!” but it eventually stuck lol and he called me Pooh, or Pooh bear or even just bear.
I remember every time I’d leave or get off the phone I’d always say “I love you” he’d always try to hold out on saying it back and laugh bc he knows I’d always keep saying it until he said it back. Gonna miss that. Wish I could tell him one more time.

Was thinking about the time you helped me move my furniture into this house. I told you that I’d help you move a dresser and you insisted that you had it by yourself. You ended up hurting your back and then had to go home. You were always so stubborn.  But we both get it honestly.

This was the picture we took before papas funeral. Never imagined I’d be attending yours this soon. 😔  I hate this so much.

I’m gonna miss you so much Brandalyn. You weren’t supposed to go yet. I know we hadn’t been able to hang out as much as the old days. But we made some good memories along the way that I’ll cherish forever. I love you and will see you again one day. Can’t wait to cut up and be goofy with you forever in heaven when I get there.  Give Papa a hug for me and save me a seat.
