Tracey Lynn Galbraith Stroh, 63, of Delray Beach Florida, formerly of Greenwich, Connecticut passed away faithfully in our Lord on January 15, 2022 from complications associated with her courageous battle against Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Tracey was born in Norwalk, Connecticut on September 6, 1958 to her late parents James D. and Adele B. Galbraith. She was married briefly in 1987 to the late Donald J. Stroh of Norwalk CT. She was currently betrothed to Bryan J. Moniz of Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Tracey was a loving, witty, hip, fashionable and light hearted woman. Career minded in her early adult years, she was certified by the American Institute of Banking which sent her into a career as an exceptional executive assistant spanning several decades with Allianz of America Investment Corp. and Blyth, Inc. But her passion in life was her love and consummate care of animals. She had an innate and affectionate ability to positively rehabilitate traumatized pets with their new owners. For nearly 15 years in lower Fairfield County Connecticut, she grew popular with a client following in her own pet sitting business. She had frequently asserted that it was the most rewarding experience in life and was an ardent supporter of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
In 2015, Tracey left Connecticut for Delray Beach, Florida where she served as her Mother's faithful caregiver until her death in September of 2019.
She will be deeply missed by her surviving sister and brother-in-law Susan Galbraith Zimmerman and David C. Zimmerman of Delray Beach, Florida, her fiancé Bryan J. Moniz and her many friends near and far. Tracey will remain eternally grateful to the innumerous professional healthcare teams of The Cleveland Clinic in Weston and Port St. Lucie, Florida, and The University of Miami's Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center who were unwavering in their care, support, and compassion. Special gratitude and sincerest appreciation to those friends who reached out in sincerity with their generous time, care, encouragement and healing gifts.
A private service will take place on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at the Boca Raton Mausoleum Chapel, 451 SW 4th Ave, interment following alongside her Mom.
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and to the ASPCA.
