Gail McCloskey, “Patty”, age 84, passed away on April 23, 2024 in Boca Raton, Florida after a courageous battle with synchronous cancer. Born on November 19, 1939, she brought immense joy to those around her.
Patty’s journey touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of strength and resilience. Her unwavering spirit in the face of adversity was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Patty was born in Cumberland Maryland in November 1939 to Ruth and Kermit Andrews. As she grew up and went through primary and secondary schools she made the decision to convert to Catholicism. Pat met her husband, John in 1962 in Dundalk, MD and they were married at St. Clements Church in Baltimore, MD on January 25, 1964. Their son Michael was born in July of 1965. They shared a wonderful life together filled with a love that grew stronger through their 60 years of marriage. Patty loved her family and her dogs with her whole heart and received that love back tenfold.
Patty is survived by her loving husband, John, her devoted son Michael, her daughter-in-law, Laura and her adoring grandchildren, Colin and Luke. Her family and friends will forever hold dear her memory. She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, love and devotion to her family as well as the positive impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
The services to honor and celebrate Patty’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 2PM to 6PM at Babione Funeral Home 10060 Calle Comercio Drive, Boca Raton Florida 33428. Entombment on May 2nd at the Boca Raton Mausoleum 451 SW 4th Ave., Boca Raton, FL 33432
