Michael Carl Slusher

Michael was born in Long Island, NY on August 11, 1955, to Betty and James Slusher.

Survived by his loving wife Elysa, his daughter Nicole, his son Sean, his dad James and his sister Dawn. Michael's journey through life was marked by compassion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear.

Michael's professional journey commenced with an internship at the Broward Sheriff's Crime Lab, a pivotal experience that ignited his passion for law enforcement. This turning point led him down a new path, where he thrived amongst his fellow law enforcement colleagues, forming bonds that would endure for decades. For over 30 years, Michael's unwavering dedication to his profession served as an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Michael interwove moments of joy, adventure, and togetherness. He found comfort in family vacations and embarking on epic road trips that created cherished memories. His home was a haven for friends and family, a place where laughter echoed through the halls during warm gatherings. He loved cruising and playing at his 3 card poker tables and the excitement of hunting and fishing escapades, painted a picture of a life well-lived.

Michael's pursuits were as diverse as they were meaningful. As a skilled Gunsmith, he spent hours crafting and perfecting his creations in his garage. A testament to his craftsmanship and dedication. His love for culinary arts was evident in the delicious feasts he prepared, that brought his loved ones together.

Always quick to extend a helping hand, he offered support to friends and family without ever seeking anything in return.
