Malcolm Edward Thomas, 87, of Boca Raton, FL passed away peacefully on July 23rd, 2023. He was born on February 14, 1936 to Malcolm and Nell Kaczor Thomas in Bridgeport, Ohio. He was a graduate of Kent State University and did his graduate work at Niagara University. Malcolm was a loving husband to Carolyn Thomas, and a devoted father to Stephanie Ramage (Boca Raton, FL), Mark Thomas (Boca Raton, FL) and Trevor Thomas (Fort Lauderdale, FL). He was also a proud grandfather to Connor Ramage (New York, NY), Natalie Ramage (Orlando, FL), Zachary Thomas (Fort Lauderdale, FL), Matthew Thomas (Fort Lauderdale, FL), Brady Thomas (Boca Raton, FL) and Miranda Thomas (Boca Raton, FL). He is survived by his siblings: Barbara Nobles (Bellview, WA), Mary Mattern (Mobile, AL), James “Butch” Thomas (Columbus, OH) and Terry Thomas (Fort Walton Beach, Fl).
Malcolm was born in Ohio but made Medina, NY his home. Malcolm was a pillar of his community of Medina, NY serving as an employee of Niagara-Orleans BOCES as a teacher and administrator. He was a member of the boards of the United Way, Medina Memorial Hospital, Orchard Manor, and a member of the Lions Club. He was an avid golfer and member of Sheldridge Country Club of Medina, NY. He enjoyed the annual 4th of July Picnic with his family and friends. He was longtime fan of the Buffalo Bills and enjoyed watching the games and tailgating with his family and friends.
Malcolm was a kind and gentle man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank Sonata Assisted Living Facility for making his final year comfortable.
