Jane Robbins King, 90, of Boca Raton, FL. passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Jane was born in Schenectady, N.Y. on August 31, 1926 the daughter of the late Louis and Edith Robbins. She met her future husband, Stanley King, while attending the University of Vermont. While raising her family Jane attained a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and embarked on a twenty-five year teaching career, most of which as a First Grade Teacher in the Parsippany-Troy Hills, N.J. School district. Throughout her life, Jane was an active church member as well as a volunteer for a variety of organizations that serve others. Jane and Stan spent their retirement years in Boca Raton and their summer residence in Mt. View, N. Y. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and friendly personality. Jane was predeceased by her husband and is survived by a daughter, Belinda of Holly Springs, N.C., a son, Christopher (Denise) of Bedminster, N.J. and a "foreign exchange student son," Reinhard Schulz (Ulrike) of Bonn, Germany; four grandchildren, Bryan, Lita, Bradley (Kelly) and Michelle (Eric); three great-grandchildren, Sylas, Grace and Savannah; and two nieces, Suzanne (David) and Carolyn (Leonard). A service celebrating her life will take place at the St. Andrews Estates South Chapel on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Community Church, 600 West Camino Real, Boca Raton, FloridaArrangements under the direction of Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home, Boca Raton, FL.
