Sue Ann Schafer

Sue Ann Schafer, age 86, of Unionville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. She was born August 3, 1936 in Zionsville to Albert Edwin Heimburger and Mary Louise Hutchinson Heimburger. She was a Registered Nurse and a former Director of Nursing at Hoosier Village in Zionsville and later at Meadowood in Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her parents; her longtime partner, William “Bill” Keith; and her brother, David Heimburger. Survivors include Bill’s daughters, Marsha Keith and her husband Gene Snipes of Unionville and Linda Hardin of Zionsville; a nephew, John Heimburger of Chicago; and her longtime friends from Pike Township in Marion County. Sue enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, listening to music, watching movies and cooking. She loved to laugh and hear a good joke. No services are planned at this time.
