Francine Claudette June Letourneau Tobin, 83, of Bloomington passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 in I. U. Health Hospice House. She was born June 18, 1941 in Orleans, Vermont to Clovis Letourneau and Elsie Chicoine Letourneau. She was a retired Nurse.
Survivors include her children, Karen (Michael) Cole of Bloomington, Lynn (Michael) Ybarra of Pflugerville, TX, Stephen (Susan) Tobin of Round Rock, TX and Peter Tobin of Round Rock, TX; three sisters, Josephine Cronin, Germaine Dagenais and Clovine Sahagian; a brother, Norman (Laurie) Letourneau; a sister in law, Mary (William) Marshall; thirteen grandchildren, Allen and Allison Tobin, Sarah, Rachael, Michael, Mary, Bridget, Joseph and Angela Ybarra and Kristen, Timothy, Robert and Charles Cole; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Allen Richard Tobin; two brothers, Norman Letourneau who died in infancy and Roland Letourneau; and three sisters, Pauline Wilcox, Jeannine Newcomb and Ruth Ann “Dolly” Letourneau.
Francine was a Member of St Charles Borromeo Church. She was a Vietnam era U. S. Air Force Nurse, a 4 year resident of Gentry Park and continued her nursing career after leaving the Air Force.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Monday, October 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM in St Charles Borromeo Church, 2222 East 3rd Street with Father Thomas Kovatch officiating. She will be inurned at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home.
