Carol is survived by her beloved husband, Rodney Mullis; her son Cody Mullis; her brother, Robert L. Hawkins; her sisters, Janis Wilhite and Maxine Kay McPike; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Hawkins and Audrey (Abbott) Hawkins; and her brother, William Hawkins.
Carol worked at RCA for over 30 years until the plant closed in 1998. From there, she worked at the Monroe County Public Library for over 10 years. Her hobbies included reading, sewing, going to flea markets, and going on car rides. She attended Pentecostal Faith Assembly.
A visitation will be held at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home (4150 E. 3rd St. Bloomington, IN 47404) on Friday, October 7th, 2022 from 6pm-8pm. The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 at 12pm with Pastor Mickey Douglass officiating.
