Tracy graduated with college honors and a 4.75 GPA from UIC and was a member of Golden Key International Honors Society. She was a former professional writer for multiple publications, such as “The Chicago Sun Times”. Tracy was passionate about acting in movies as well as commercials and even appeared on television shows, such as Chicago Med and Chicago Fire. Her attractive appearance, endearing personality, and superb acting skills made her a favorite among directors. Tracy had a keen interest in photography and had a small business, “Tracy’s Fun Photography”. She also enjoyed her position as staff writer for “Buzz Center Stage” as she took photos of popular bands’ performances (often at House of Blues in Chicago), interviewed lead singers, and wrote reviews.
Tracy relished in traveling, drawing, and writing song lyrics. She was considerate, selfless, had a heart of gold with a smile on her face, and was quick to help people and animals. She formerly worked as an animal rescuer and adoption coordinator at Cute Pet Adoptions. Tracy shined as a warm and loving soul who will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Surviving Tracy (aka “Sunshine”) are her loving mother Linda Walsh of Tinley Park, IL; her older brother Kevin Walsh of Phoenix, AZ; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom she adored. She is preceded in passing by her father Patrick John Walsh.
